Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: New York, NY
Arrive in New York and settle into the city. Enjoy free time to explore its famous neighbourhoods, landmarks and entertainment districts.
Day 2: New York, NY
Take a half-day guided city tour and discover New York’s history, neighbourhoods and major attractions.
Day 3: New York to Philadelphia to Washington, D.C.
Visit historic Philadelphia, including the area associated with the American Revolution, before continuing to Washington, D.C.
Day 4: Washington, D.C.
Enjoy guided sightseeing featuring the White House, U.S. Capitol, Lincoln Memorial and other significant landmarks.
Day 5: Washington, D.C. to Roanoke, VA
Travel through Shenandoah National Park along Skyline Drive, visit Skyline Caverns and continue along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
Day 6: Roanoke to Asheville to Pigeon Forge, TN
Travel through Asheville and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, visiting the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and Mountain Farm Museum before continuing to Pigeon Forge.
Day 7: Pigeon Forge to Nashville, TN
Discover Nashville’s country music heritage with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Explore RCA Studio B and other city attractions at your leisure.
Day 8: Nashville to Memphis, TN
Visit Graceland, Elvis Presley’s former estate, and Sun Studio before exploring Memphis’s musical landmarks.
Day 9: Memphis to Indianola to Vicksburg to Natchez, MS
Visit the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center, continue through Vicksburg and arrive in historic Natchez.
Day 10: Natchez to Baton Rouge to New Orleans, LA
Travel through Baton Rouge, explore Louisiana’s history and visit a historic plantation before arriving in New Orleans.
Day 11: New Orleans, LA
Enjoy a guided walking tour of the French Quarter, including Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Spend the rest of the day exploring independently or choosing optional excursions.
Day 12: New Orleans, LA
The tour concludes. Arrange your own transfer to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
